Shelton showcases his 'Voice' in Charleston
Advertiser

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- In 2001, Blake Shelton released the kind of debut CD every performer dreams of: the lead single, "Austin," spent five weeks at No. 1, the album went gold and two more Top 20 hits emerged. The hits have kept on coming, right up through "Drink on It," the current single from the country star's 2011 album "Red River Blue." On break from judging the singing competition "The Voice," he'll perform these songs and more in a 7:30 p.m. Friday concert at the Charleston Civic Center.

Along for the ride are Justin Moore and Dia Frampton. Moore hit the country scene in 2009 with his gold-certified, self-titled debut, which included the No. 1 hit "Small Town USA," and continued his golden run with the sophomore disc "Outlaws Like Me." Frampton was on Shelton's team on season one of "The Voice," finishing second. She released a solo album in December and is part of Meg & Dia, the indie band she started with her sister in 2004.

Tickets are $27.75 and $52.50. Call 800-745-3000 or visit www.ticketmaster.com.
