In early December, Logan native Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. showed the audience at Charleston's Clay Center some of the gifts that earned him the win on 2011's "America's Got Talent" television competition. The former car washer crooned smoothly through some classic Frank Sinatra for an appreciative and proud local crowd.

Success hasn't spoiled Landau "Doonie" Murphy. The Logan County singer and newly minted celebrity had a spectacular 2011 and is looking forward to another great year in 2012.
