Send-A-Child-To-Camp Fund
Last year, over 750 West Virginia children had the opportunity to attend summer camp. If not for your donations to the Send-A-Child-To-Camp Fund, many of these children would’ve spent their summer indoors. Instead, they had a chance to toast marshmallows, learn silly camp songs, spend time outside, and make memories that will last them a lifetime.
Every dollar donated to the Camp Fund goes toward funding camp scholarships. The Gazette covers all costs associated with operating the fund.
The average cost to send a child to camp is $80, although some of the specialized camps in our program (such as the Muscular Dystrophy and Spina Bifida camps) are considerably higher. No donation is too small. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
